The truth is this: I’ve spent my whole life fighting for family farms and ranches, small businesses, and small town and rural Nebraska. I oppose and have spoken out vigorously against the EPA’s proposed Waters of the U.S. rule, and my record shows that I have helped many farmers and ranchers overcome burdensome regulations.
Wed, 22 Oct 2014 12:58:31 -0500 Meg Mandy http://www.chuckhassebrook.com/farmers_and_ranchers_ag_leaders_support_hassebrook Omaha Fire Fighters endorse Hassebrook
Omaha Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 385, have endorsed Chuck Hassebrook for Governor.

“Omaha Fire Fighters chose to endorse Chuck Hassebrook because we’re confident that he will make public safety his number one priority. Public officials must observe the rule of law if we expect to restore public trust in elected officials to truly serve Nebraskans.

“By his own admission, my opponent knew of the problems with his running mate well before the legal deadline to replace him on the ballot. He had ample time to make a decision within the legal time frame. And now he is disrespecting Nebraska law by bending it to suit his own needs.

“I will not go to court to challenge the ruling. I choose to take the case for my election to the people of Nebraska. But this presents another example of how one party rule has resulted in a culture of arrogant leaders that see themselves above the law.
